JUTSU
Hibari is very good in using her ninjutsu in tandem with her summon Kuro. This is her primary/main fighting style, due to her inability to perform in close combat with opponents and her lack of skill with genjutsus.

Similar to the standard Shadow Clone Technique, but unique to Hibari's clan due to it's usage of the clans avian summons.

Using Kuro, Hibari channels her own chakra into him in order to boost his speed and seemingly sharpening his wing feathers with chakra and practically turning him into a sentient weapon.

Typically used only in defense circumstances, but Hibari can also utilize this jutsu in order to keep her opponents in place by creating a barrier of chakra infused feathers, making them incredibly strong and durable.

Simply put, a trapping jutsu that Hibari uses to capture opponents. It traps them within a vaccuum of air. Can be specialized and altered to include chakra infused feathers into the vortext that can harm the victim if they try to escape.

PERSONALITY: A charming, sweet, friendly member of Konohagakure's Mori clan. When it comes to platonic relationships, like friendships, she holds them very dear to her and loves her friends and cousins more than anything. She takes her place as Team Hayashi's cheerful chirping bird, and gets along very well with both of her teammates as well as her sensei.
GOOD TRAITS: Cheery, accepting and open-minded, extremely loyal and determined.

-- She gets along fairly well with her parents, for the most part. Previous to starting the academy, she resided with them in the Sanctuary. However, they disliked the idea of her becoming a shinobi and always told her to work with them instead. Tensions were high between them when she decided to move in with Kohaku and Kaede in order to attend the academy. Their relationship improves again shortly before Part II.

  Kohaku Mori ( Cousin ) -- they treat each other more like brother and sister and are very close to each other.
Kaede Mori ( Aunt ) -- Hibari admires Kaede because of her strength and leadership as the Mori Clan's head. She greatly appreciates her taking her in and letting her attend the academy and giving her the chance to become a shinobi.
  Kiji and Tsuru Mori ( Cousins, pumpkincookie ) -- she spends a lot of time with the twins when she can and cares deeply for them.

TEAMMATES:
Hiro Akiyama -- She always tries to make the boy feel comfortable and at home whenever they're together. She understands his quiet nature and will either do the talking for the both of them, or sit in comfortable silence with him.
Rin Aburame -- The bug user can be considered one of Hibari's closest friends and she owes a lot to the strange girl. Hibari is constantly looking out for her and making sure she's healthy and alright, knowing the girl tends to get sick and weak often.
Natsuko Hayashi ( Sensei ) -- Hibari cares a lot for her sensei and despite the Jonin not being too enthusiastic with her students, it doesn't bother Hibari in the slightest. The two become very close as the series go on and Hibari tends to go to Natsuko for all kinds of advice and simply to just have good conversations with.

Tenten -- The two girls talk to each other often; Hibari often goes to her for help when it comes to learning how to incorporate different weapons into her fighting style. The two like to just talk and hang out.
  Shino Aburame -- The two met through Rin and despite the boy's strange ways, she enjoys his company and likes listening to him talk.
Souma Kazame -- Hibari met him when visiting Kohaku to train together with him and started up a conversation with the Kazame member, despite what her parents warned her about the feline clan. The two don't speak often, since Souma rarely speaks, but Hibari does enjoy his presence. They bond over cats.

LOVE INTERESTS:
Kiba Inuzuka -- The two first met when they were both still attending the academy thanks to a hyperactive Akamaru who tackled Hibari one day after classes had finished. Rather than getting upset, she continued to let the small dog bark and sniff at her and brushed Kiba off when he started scolding the pup. From then on they spoke often, and would even walk home together after school. After their academy days, they continue to spend time together. After the Sasuke Retrieval arc, she visits him in the hospital, bringing him flowers and checking up on him, with his feelings starting to bloom for her. It isn't until the Mori Clan's Festival of Cranes that feelings are revealed and dealt with; Kiba gets jealous and protective when another boy begins to flirt with Hibari without her realizing. With tense words exchanged between the two of them, Kiba ends up confessing his feelings for her. They end up dating shortly after the Festival is over and continue dating through Part II.

BACKGROUND & HISTORY

Hibari was born to Toki and Uguisu, two members of Konohagakure's Mori Clan, who prided themselves in the effort they dedicated to the clan's Sanctuary where they worked. Hibari was a bright and cheery child, always chasing the birds on the compound and talking with the avian summons that relaxed on the clan's grounds. She was always a happy healthy child, which was more than the two adults could ask for. However, as Hibari grew older and spent more time with all of her older cousins, she was introduced to the shinobi sect of the clan; due to the Sanctuary and the Shinobi compound being split from each other, she had only known those who helped at the Sanctuary until that point. She was amazed by how strong and independent they were and instantly wanted to be one of them.

Shortly after the clan's annual Festival of Cranes, where she received her first companion Kuro, Hibari confessed to her parents of her wanting to become a Kunoichi. Due to the fact neither of them were shinobi themselves, and having to live through their clansmen dying from the job, her parents outright refused out of fear for their only daughter. Hibari, being overly adamant about the situation, spoke up against her parents and told them that, regardless of whether or not they wanted her to, she was going to attend the academy and become a shinobi.

Things quickly became tense between her and her parents due to her outburst, and thankfully, her cousin Kohaku opened his home to her to get away for a while. His mother Kaede spared no effort in making her feel at home and took her in with open arms. Kaede resided as the clan's Head and leader over the Mori's Shinobi sect, which put Hibari in more contact with the ninja and made her admiration only grow. Most of that admiration went towards Kaede, for the fact she gladly took the girl in and even agreed to letting her attend the academy with Kohaku.

During her Academy days, Hibari excelled in the majority of her classes, being able to keep up with the rest of the group. She also gained many friends while attending, something that was completely new to her. She grew up surrounded by her family and spent her days playing with her cousins and the clan's birds. Being able to make friends outside of her family was a new experience that she ended up loving. She often spent time with the other girls in the class, learning more about them and just making friends. She didn't talk to many of the boys other than her cousin, and it wasn't until a run in with Akamaru and Kiba after class that she befriends him either. After that, she tended to walk home with him often after classes were let out for the day.

After graduation from the Academy, she was expecting to be put on a team with Kohaku, but instead was placed on a team with Hiro Akiyama and Rin Aburame, two classmates that she hadn't spoken to much up till that point, alongside a sensei who didn't seem too thrilled to be stuck with them. Natsuko was a newly appointed Jonin, who just left the academy in order to help teach the graduated Genin. However, she was hesitant to leave the academy since she much preferred teaching in a classroom setting. Hibari didn't hold any of this against her and from the very first day, tried her best in getting Natsuko to open up and warm up to them.
